General Policy HTI ensures compliance to all standard specifications. The method of identification shall be subject to control in order to provide traceability from lot to lot and to achieve the goal of quality management. PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION All purchased products are identified by part numbers. The identification is the same used in drawings or can be cross-referenced with product designations, specifications and purchase orders. Marking, labeling or packaging identifies purchased products. DURING PROCESS During the final inspection procedure (before packing) the inspector shall recheck and ascertain that such identification is still present. During the packing process the packer shall identify each container (keg, carton, etc.) by the lot number and the individual container number. TRACEABILITY SYSTEM Each stage of the production program, from raw material to the various manufacturing stages (forming, tapping, etc.), must be recorded indicating the original lot number and their start and completion dates so that all parts can be traced to any stage in the production process. The final packing stage shall be recorded to identify the container number and packing date related to the lot number. All traceability documents and records are to be maintained for a period of five years. TABLE OF CONTENTS PREVIOUS SECTION NEXT SECTION |
